Actually it’s not the Thread that makes a difference for me, but the 16A. I can even imagine using it for the oven to monitor the power usage when I bake bread. And the configurable LED color - I think if it’s configurable through automations, I’ll use it as some form of notification indicator (for example - when the lock is unlocked, I will see it in the bedroom by the LED color)

It’s like @cezary806 already mentioned- and the plug has more opportunities with the settings. Just interested how to options of automations differs from Matter to Zigbee
