Hey everyone! I wanted to share a fun project I recently completed that combines my love for smart home technology with a bit of DIY creativity. I’ve always been a fan of gaming, but my Gaming Pixel Light just didn’t fit the aesthetic of my home decor. After some brainstorming, I decided to give it a sleek upgrade using 3D printing!
The Challenge
The original design of the Gaming Pixel Light was too gaming-oriented for my taste. With its vibrant green accents and retro gamer elements, it felt out of place near my dry bar. I wanted something that looked more like a sophisticated smart device rather than a gaming accessory.
The Solution
I decided to design and 3D print custom trim pieces to cover the retro elements. The process was a mix of trial and error, but the result was worth it! The new trim pieces gave the light a sleek, modern look that blends seamlessly with my home decor. It now looks like a premium smart device, perfect for my space.
The Outcome
Not only did this project solve my decor dilemma, but it also reignited my passion for DIY projects.
