Hi all, I wanted to share my recent experience transitioning from the Wink hub to Hubitat. After facing numerous issues with the Wink hub, including server outages and pairing problems, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I’ve been using Hubitat for about two weeks now, and I must say, it’s been a breath of fresh air!The setup process was straightforward, and I was impressed by the wide range of supported devices. My devices, including lights, sensors, and thermostats, integrated seamlessly. The interface is user-friendly, and the rule engine is powerful yet intuitive. I’ve managed to recreate all my existing automations with ease, and the dashboards provide a clear overview of my smart home setup.One feature I particularly enjoy is the ability to customize dashboards using CSS. It allows me to present information in a way that suits my preferences, which wasn’t as flexible with my previous setup. I’ve also appreciated the responsive community here; every time I’ve had a question, someone has been quick to offer helpful advice.Now, as I look to expand my system, I have a few questions for the community. I’m considering adding smart locks and outdoor cameras. Does anyone have recommendations for compatible devices that integrate well with Hubitat? Additionally, I’d love to hear about any creative automations or setups others have implemented to enhance their homes further.Thank you all for your insights and support.
