Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Aeotec Micro Smart Switch 2E. I’ve been using it for a while now, but recently, I noticed the red LED was blinking continuously, even after pairing it with my Aeotec Z-Stick G5. According to the manual, it should stop blinking once paired, so this was a bit concerning.
I started by checking the configuration parameters in HABmin. There’s a setting called “Make Micro Smart Switch 2nd Edition Blink,” which is a double-byte value. I tried adjusting this, but setting it to 0 didn’t seem to work. I reached out to the community for advice, and someone suggested checking if the switch was receiving power correctly. After a thorough inspection, I realized the issue was with the wiring. Once I corrected that, the LED stopped blinking, and everything worked smoothly.
