I recently set up my Arlo Essential 2 Outdoor 2K cameras, and while I’m thrilled with the motion detection alerts, I’m puzzled by the lack of snapshots or video. I expected these features to be included without needing a subscription, especially since they briefly appeared when I edited my device rules. However, they disappeared within a day, leaving me with just alerts—almost useless without visuals.
I’ve tried everything from clearing memory to adjusting settings, but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to ensure these features stay enabled? I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully set up their cameras with video alerts. Maybe there’s a trick I’m missing!
