Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved communication errors with their Shelly devices. I’ve been using Shelly devices for a while now, and they’ve been working perfectly. However, after restructuring my home network and moving the Shelly devices to a separate network, I’ve noticed some devices are experiencing communication issues, while others are still rock solid. This has been quite puzzling!
The setup involves four Shelly devices: two Shelly RGBW2s, one Shelly Dimmer2, and one Shelly 1L. The Shelly RGBW2s and Shelly 1L are working without any issues, but the Shelly Dimmer2 is frequently showing a COMMUNICATION_ERROR. I’ve double-checked the network settings, and the devices are connected without any issues on the network side. The logs show that the devices are reconnecting periodically, but the communication errors persist.
I’ve tried resetting the devices and reconfiguring them in openHAB, but the issue remains. I’m wondering if there’s something specific about the network settings or device configuration that might be causing this. Has anyone else experienced similar issues when moving devices to a separate network? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
