Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring some new features with my smart home setup, but I’ve hit a snag with my Homey Bridge. I’m hoping the community can shed some light on this.
So, a few days ago, I set up my Homey Bridge, and while most things are working smoothly, there’s this issue where the device states aren’t updating automatically. For instance, if I toggle a light switch or a fan manually, the Homey Bridge doesn’t reflect the change in the app or the browser. It’s only when I manually update the state through the app or browser that it shows correctly. This is a bit frustrating, especially since I rely on these updates to monitor my devices when I’m away.
I’ve checked the connections and ensured everything is properly paired, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround I can try. Maybe there’s a setting I’ve overlooked or a configuration tweak that could resolve this.
On a positive note, I’ve been impressed with how most of my devices integrate with Homey. The automation rules are pretty straightforward, and I’ve managed to create some useful routines. It’s just this state update issue that’s been a bit of a hurdle.
