Hello everyone,
I’ve been trying to set up DuckDNS with my latest HASSIO installation, and I’ve hit a bit of a snag. Despite following all the steps, I’m encountering a login error that says something went wrong. Let me walk through my setup and the steps I’ve taken so far.
First, I configured DuckDNS with my domain and set up the necessary port forwards: 80 to 80, 443 to 443, and 8123 to 8123. The logs show that a certificate and key were successfully generated, which is a good sign. When I try to log in using my DuckDNS URL, I do see the Home Assistant login screen, but it never prompts for my credentials. Instead, it just waits for a moment and then throws an error: ‘Login Failed: Something went wrong.’
I’ve checked my configuration multiple times, and everything seems to be in order. I’ve also tried resetting my DuckDNS settings and reconfiguring them from scratch, but the issue persists. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing in the HASSIO setup or if there’s a known issue with DuckDNS integration.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m really looking forward to getting this sorted out so I can access my Home Assistant instance remotely without any hassle.
Cheers,
