Troubleshooting Echo Dot Connectivity Issues

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with my Echo Dot 5th Gen. I’ve been having trouble connecting it to Apple Music, which was the main reason I purchased it. Every time I tried to add the skill, I’d get an error saying the skill no longer exists. It was really frustrating, especially since I rely on Apple Music for my daily commute. After spending hours trying different solutions—like updating my iOS device, resetting my Echo Dot, and even using a different Amazon account—I finally stumbled upon the fix. It turns out, the issue was with the regional settings. Since I’m in Switzerland, some skills aren’t as readily available. By adjusting the Echo Dot’s language and regional settings to match my account, everything started working smoothly. Here’s what I did:1. Checked the Echo Dot’s language and regional settings in the Alexa app.2. Ensured they matched my Amazon account’s regional settings.3. Unlinked and relinked my Apple Music account through the Alexa app. Now, Apple Music works perfectly, and I can finally enjoy my favorite playlists without any issues. If anyone else is experiencing similar problems, I hope this helps! It’s a great reminder that sometimes, the simplest settings can make all the difference. Happy smartening everyone! :headphones:
