Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered issues with their Ecobee integration in Hubitat. Earlier this week, I noticed that my Ecobee devices had lost their connection, requiring me to reauthorize. I entered my username and password as usual, but I was met with an unexpected error message. Strangely, when I logged into ecobee.com directly with the same credentials, everything worked perfectly. This has left me puzzled—is this related to the two-factor authentication (2FA) I recently enabled on my Ecobee account? I didn’t come across any information suggesting that 2FA would interfere with the Hubitat integration, so I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges or have insights to share.
In the meantime, I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps: clearing my browser cache, ensuring my Hubitat firmware is up to date, and even temporarily disabling 2FA to test the connection. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. I’d greatly appreciate any advice or workarounds that the community might have. It’s frustrating to have such a reliable system suddenly hit a snag, but I’m hopeful that with some collective problem-solving, we can get this sorted out!
