Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the EISY Portal integration, as I know many of us have faced similar challenges. Last week, I noticed that my EISY device at my main residence was offline, despite functioning normally the day before. The UD Mobile app showed a warning icon, and while I could connect via IoX, the portal integration remained offline. I tried upgrading the firmware from 5.8.3 to 5.8.4, which the notifications tab confirmed, but the issue persisted. Rebooting the EISY and refreshing the portal didn’t help either. I was concerned about losing my extensive Alexa integration, but thankfully, I found a solution!
After some research, I discovered that revoking the portal service and重新设置 it could resolve the issue without affecting my Alexa setup. I was hesitant at first, but it worked like a charm! Now, my EISY is fully integrated again, and everything runs smoothly. If anyone else is struggling with this, I highly recommend trying this method. It’s a bit nerve-wracking, but it’s worth it to avoid reconfiguring all your devices. Let me know if you have any questions or if there’s another workaround you’ve found!
On a lighter note, I also wanted to mention my recent success with integrating a TP-Link Tapo P400M outlet via Matter. It’s been a game-changer for controlling my devices seamlessly. I’m curious if others have encountered the same ‘Connected Via’ display bug I did, where it incorrectly shows devices that can’t actually host the connection. It’s a minor annoyance, but I’d love to hear if anyone else has experienced this or found a fix!
