Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Eva Smart Plug and how I managed to resolve a connectivity issue I encountered. I recently upgraded my Homey system to version 10.0.5, and unfortunately, my Eva Smart Plug stopped working. The error message I received was ‘Device Unavailable. Zigbee is starting. Please wait a minute and try again.’
I reached out to the support team, and they mentioned that this issue might be related to the recent firmware update. After some research, I discovered that rolling back to version 10.0.4 temporarily resolved the problem for me. The plug worked perfectly again, and I could control it through the Homey app without any issues.
However, when the next update to version 10.0.5 was released, the problem resurfaced. I tried restarting both the plug and the Homey system, but it didn’t help. I’m currently using version 10.0.4 as a workaround until the developers release a fix for this issue.
If anyone else is experiencing similar problems, I recommend checking if rolling back to a previous version helps. It might be a temporary solution, but it’s better than having the device offline. I’m hopeful that the developers will address this issue soon and provide a permanent fix.
In the meantime, if you have any tips or alternative solutions, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the community updated on any progress regarding this matter. Thanks for your understanding and support!
