Troubleshooting EVCC Setup with Huawei SUN2000

Hello everyone, I’m currently trying to set up EVCC with my Huawei SUN2000 system, but I’m running into some issues. I’ve configured the system with a 10kWh LUNA battery, a Smartmeter DTSU 666, and an SDongle, all integrated through the modbux Proxy with the ‘Huawei Solar’ integration. Everything has been running smoothly for months, but when I try to start EVCC, it doesn’t load the Dashboard as expected. Instead, it gets stuck on the ‘Welcome - Start Configuration’ page.

After some troubleshooting, I noticed that EVCC isn’t starting fully, and the values displayed under ‘PV’ don’t match what I expect. For example, it shows only two energy values instead of the detailed ones I anticipated. I’ve tried all the available Huawei templates, but the issue persists. The trace logs indicate that the SDongle is being accessed correctly and responding, but there’s no clear indication of why EVCC isn’t starting properly.

I’m wondering if there have been any recent changes to the register mappings or if a software update on the Huawei components might have caused this. I’m hesitant to update the firmware without a solid reason, as everything else is working fine. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Here’s a snippet of the trace logs for reference:

[main ] INFO 2025/02/19 10:27:47 evcc 0.200.1

Any insights or advice would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance!
