I’ve been experiencing some frustrating issues with my Google Nest Router over the past few days. It started with the Wi-Fi signal dropping in and out, and today it seems like the router has completely stopped broadcasting any wireless signal. While the router appears to be online and functioning according to the Home app, the Wi-Fi network is nowhere to be found when searching for available networks. Even the guest network isn’t showing up, which is quite perplexing.
I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue. First, I performed a factory reset on the router, hoping that would clear up any underlying software problems. Unfortunately, after the reset, the issue persisted. Next, I reset all my connected devices and reinstalled the Google Home app, but that didn’t help either. I’ve also checked the router’s settings multiple times to ensure everything is configured correctly, and there doesn’t seem to be any obvious issues there.
One thing that’s particularly confusing is that the router itself is still online and accessible via Ethernet, but the Wi-Fi signal is completely absent. This makes me think there might be a hardware issue, but I’m not entirely sure. I’ve also tried disabling and re-enabling the Wi-Fi radios through the router’s settings, but that hasn’t made any difference.
I’m reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has encountered this problem and, if so, how they managed to fix it. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If there’s a specific diagnostic tool or test I can run to gather more information, please let me know. I’m determined to get this router back up and running smoothly!
Thanks in advance for your help!
