Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my Wi-Fi setup by getting a new router, and I’m running into some issues with my Home Assistant (HA) setup. I had everything working smoothly before, but now I can’t connect to HA through the app or desktop. I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps already:
- Factory Reset HA: I thought maybe the connection issues were due to some cached settings, so I did a factory reset. Unfortunately, that didn’t solve the problem.
- Direct IP Access: I plugged in a monitor to check the local IP address, but that didn’t help either. The connection still doesn’t work.
- Router Configuration: I’m using a Cox XB9 modem and a Netgear XR500 router. I’ve double-checked the router settings, but nothing seems out of place.
I’m wondering if there’s something specific I need to configure on the router side to allow HA to connect properly. Has anyone else experienced similar issues after switching routers? Any tips or tricks you can share would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
