Hi everyone, I’ve been experiencing some issues with my Homey setup, and I wanted to share my experiences and see if others have encountered similar problems. Over the past few weeks, my Homey Pro has been randomly disconnecting from the internet and going offline, which has been quite frustrating. This seems to happen every few days, and while a quick power cycle brings it back online, it’s not a long-term solution. Has anyone else faced this issue, or do you have any tips to stabilize the connection?
Additionally, I’ve noticed that the Google integration has been acting up. After the latest update, I started getting an ‘Internal Error’ when trying to set up Google integration again. Restarting Homey didn’t help, and I had to resort to rebooting my router and modem to get things working temporarily. I’ve been using this integration for years without any issues, so it’s concerning to see it break after an update. I’m wondering if others have had similar experiences or if there’s a known fix for this.
To address the offline mode, I’ve tried checking the firmware updates and ensuring all connections are stable. I’ve also looked into static IP assignments, but that didn’t resolve the issue. It’s a bit disheartening to rely on a workaround like rebooting the entire system just to get Homey back online. I’d love to hear if anyone has found a more reliable solution or if there’s a setting I might have missed.
On the Google integration front, I’ve reached out to Athom support, and they’re aware of the issue. However, it would be great to hear from the community on any temporary fixes or alternative methods to maintain the integration without constant reboots. I’m particularly concerned about the reliability of Homey as a central hub, and these issues are making it less dependable.
If anyone has insights, workarounds, or solutions, I’d be grateful to hear them. Let’s hope we can find a resolution soon and get back to smooth operation!
