Troubleshooting IP Camera Live Feeds in Home Assistant

I’ve been using Sricam IP cameras for over a year now, and they’ve been a reliable addition to my Home Assistant setup. Until recently, that is. After a recent update to Home Assistant, my live camera feeds stopped working. Instead of loading, they just show a spinning wheel. I was a bit puzzled because everything had been working perfectly before the update.

I started by checking the RTSP feeds to make sure they were still active. They were, so the issue wasn’t with the cameras themselves. I then looked into the Home Assistant configuration, noticing a new option called ‘pre load stream.’ I decided to give it a try, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve the issue.

After some research and reaching out to the community, I found that others had experienced similar issues post-update. One solution that worked for some was adjusting the camera entity settings, particularly tweaking the stream预加载选项. I also discovered that ensuring the latest firmware was installed on the cameras was crucial.

What I learned from this experience is the importance of keeping all devices and integrations up to date. It’s also a great reminder of how valuable community forums are for troubleshooting and sharing solutions. If anyone else is facing similar issues, I recommend checking the Home Assistant documentation and reaching out to the community for support. Happy troubleshooting! :rocket:
