Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my HM-Sec-SFA-SM device and seek some advice. After over four years of reliable service, my actor has started acting up following a recent power outage. The device controls both a siren and a flasher, which have been functioning perfectly even after a battery replacement. However, the green power LED is blinking, indicating a possible power issue, despite the power being on and the fuse appearing fine.
I suspect the internal transformer might be faulty, as the battery isn’t charging either. I’m hesitant to spend another 149 euros on a replacement, especially since I believe the design might not be optimal, relying too heavily on the battery for functionality. I’m curious if anyone has encountered similar issues or knows of alternative solutions that could help me avoid this expense. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
