Troubleshooting Port 8080 Connectivity Issues

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some guidance on an issue I’ve encountered with my openHAB setup. I recently cleared the cache on my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B after experiencing some problems with the OpenWeatherMap integration. Upon rebooting, I noticed that the web interface at port 8080 was no longer accessible. While ports 22, 139, and 445 are functioning fine, port 8080 remains unreachable. I’ve reviewed various forum posts and attempted a few troubleshooting steps, including running systemctl daemon-reload, but the issue persists.

I’m relatively new to both Linux and openHABian, so I’m not entirely sure where to turn next. The last entries in my openHAB log file indicate warnings related to the HomekitAccessoryRegistry, which I’m not entirely familiar with. Here’s a snippet of the log for reference:

2020-07-06 21:12:21.465 [WARN ] [it.internal.HomekitAccessoryRegistry] - trying to remove org.openhab.io.homekit.internal.accessories.HomekitWindowCoveringImpl@148965e but bridge is null

I’m considering whether a fresh installation might resolve the issue, but I’m hopeful there’s a way to fix it without starting over. I’m also curious if others have encountered similar problems and how they managed to resolve them. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
Jan
