Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to set up some scenes in my living room using my Ikea bulbs, but I’m running into a couple of issues that I can’t seem to figure out. I thought I’d share my experience and see if anyone else has encountered similar problems or has some advice to offer.
First, I have a set of four Ikea bulbs in my living room, and I’ve created a few scenes to change the lighting based on different moods or activities. However, when I try to activate a scene, only the bulbs that are off change their color temperature and brightness. The ones that are already on just stay as they were. It’s a bit frustrating because I was really hoping to use these scenes to create a more seamless and automated experience. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Second, I’ve set up some motion lighting triggers to turn the lights on and off automatically. While the lights do turn on when motion is detected, they don’t seem to turn off on their own. I have to manually turn them off each time, which kind of defeats the purpose of having motion sensors in the first place. I’ve tried adjusting the settings in the app, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else had this issue, or do you know of a workaround?
I’m really curious if there’s a way to fix these problems because I love the idea of having my home automatically adjust to my needs. If anyone has any tips or solutions, I’d be more than happy to try them out! Thanks in advance for your help!
