Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with my new Cam Pan and V2 cameras. I’m absolutely thrilled with the quality and features these devices offer, but I ran into a bit of a hiccup with the SD cards. Let me walk you through what happened and how I resolved it.A few weeks ago, I purchased a Cam Pan and a V2 camera to enhance my home security setup. I was excited to get them up and running, so I immediately bought two SD cards— a Kingston and a Samsung, both 32GB. The Cam Pan worked perfectly with both cards, but the V2 camera gave me the runaround. Every time I tried to insert the SD card, it would just say ‘No SD card installed.’ I was confused and a bit frustrated.I decided to do some research and found that formatting the SD cards might help. I tried formatting them on my Android phone, but the issue persisted. I even went as far as factory resetting the V2 camera, hoping that would fix it. No luck there either. Then, I remembered reading somewhere that formatting the SD card directly in the camera can sometimes resolve issues. I gave that a shot, and guess what? It worked! The V2 camera finally recognized the SD card. I was over the moon with joy.I also bought two more V2 cameras recently, and I wanted to make sure they wouldn’t have the same problem. I decided to format each SD card in the respective camera before setting them up. To my delight, they all worked seamlessly. This experience taught me the importance of thorough preparation and the value of community support. I’m now confident that my cameras are set up correctly and ready to provide the security I need.If anyone else is having trouble with their cameras and SD cards, I highly recommend trying this approach. Sometimes, the simplest solution is the most effective. Happy camera setup to all!
