Troubleshooting Sensor Supervision Loss in DIY Alarm System

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with setting up a DIY alarm system. It’s been an exciting journey, but I’ve hit a snag that I’m hoping the community can help me resolve.

After installing a brand new set of sensors and panel, I noticed an unusual issue. Last night, I armed the system through the alarm.com app before bed. This morning, after disarming, I was flooded with emails alerting me that all my sensors had lost supervision. The panel itself showed alerts for each sensor, which was concerning. After an hour or so, everything seemed to come back online, but the panel now seems stuck in a bypass mode rather than the usual home screen.

I’ve scoured the forums and found some common solutions, but nothing quite matches this issue happening across all sensors simultaneously. I’m wondering if anyone has encountered this before and could offer some insight. What could cause such a widespread loss of supervision? And how can I ensure this doesn’t happen again?

Additionally, I’d love to hear if anyone has tips for resetting the panel to its default home screen mode. I’ve tried a few things, but nothing seems to stick. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help. I’m really looking forward to getting this system up and running smoothly. - Paul
