Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved a similar issue with the Ubiquiti Unifi Binding in OpenHAB. I recently upgraded to OpenHAB 2.5 (M5) and noticed that the Unifi Binding isn’t functioning as expected. Previously, everything worked smoothly with OpenHAB 2.2 and the older Unifi network controller version (5.7.X). However, after upgrading the controller to 5.12.35, the binding either stays in an ‘initializing’ state or shows an ‘offline - configuration error’ status.
I’ve double-checked the configuration in PaperUI, and the credentials work when logging into the Unifi admin interface. The only clue I have is the stack trace pointing to an HTTP 404 error, which suggests a communication issue between OpenHAB and the Unifi controller. Additionally, there are some warnings in the controller’s server.log about invalid keys in the Setting payload, but I’m not sure if these are related.
I’m curious if others have faced similar issues after upgrading their Unifi controller or OpenHAB version. Any insights or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this further would be greatly appreciated! Let’s hope we can figure this out together.
