Hey everyone, I’ve been having some trouble with my Wyze bulbs staying online, and I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has encountered similar issues. I purchased two sets of Wyze bulbs—four in total. The first set worked perfectly when I installed them in simple light switches. However, the second set, which I installed in recessed lighting with two-way switches and a dimmer, has been giving me a hard time. They just won’t stay online, and it’s been really frustrating!
I’ve checked everything I can think of. The kitchen is right next to my router, so it’s definitely not a WiFi issue. I’ve tried resetting the bulbs, ensuring they’re properly seated, and even swapping the switches to rule out any hardware problems. Nothing seems to work consistently. I’m starting to wonder if the two-way switches or the dimmer are causing interference with the bulbs’ ability to maintain a stable connection.
Has anyone else dealt with this kind of issue? I’d love to hear if there are any workarounds or solutions out there. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a specific way to configure the bulbs when they’re installed in more complex setups like mine. I’m really hoping to get this sorted out because I love the convenience and energy efficiency of these bulbs, and it would be a shame to have to replace them just because of connectivity issues.
In the meantime, I’ve been keeping an eye on the Wyze forums and social media channels in case there are any updates or patches that might address this problem. If anyone has any tips or advice, I’d be more than grateful to hear them!
Cheers,
