After some research and trial and error, I discovered that the problem was related to the MQTT broker configuration. Once I adjusted the settings, everything fell into place, and the connection issues were resolved. It was a great feeling to get everything working again!
On a lighter note, I wanted to share a success story that truly highlighted the value of smart home technology for me. A few weeks ago, I was alerted by my smart water leak sensor in the middle of the night. Upon checking, I found a small puddle in my utility closet. Thanks to my system, the main water shut-off was already closed, preventing any further damage. I was able to address the issue promptly and avoid what could have been a costly disaster. This experience reinforced my confidence in the importance of having reliable smart home devices in place.
