Recently, I migrated my setup from the Hubitat C7 to the C8 hub, and while existing devices work seamlessly, I’ve encountered difficulties adding new ZigBee devices. The devices are detected but get stuck at the initialization stage. I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps, including disabling repeaters and keys in clear, but the issue persists. Interestingly, one of the devices, an Innr Power Plug, was previously paired with the C7 and worked fine until I factory reset it. Another device, a power strip, wasn’t compatible with the C7 but was supposedly compatible with the C8. After confirming the issue wasn’t with the device itself by temporarily pairing it to the C8, I reset the hub. Despite these efforts, the problem remains.
