Hi everyone, I’m new to the smart home scene and I’m really enjoying setting up my ecosystem. I recently decided to switch from Z-Wave to Zigbee to take advantage of the mesh network benefits. I’ve been using the Sonoff Zigbee dongle, which I’ve heard great things about, but I’m running into an issue where the dongle isn’t being recognized by my Raspberry Pi setup.
I’ve followed the installation instructions carefully, but when I check the system settings, the dongle doesn’t show up under the hardware list. I’ve tried unplugging and replugging it, rebooting the system, and even checking the device ID through the terminal, but nothing seems to work. I’m using the latest version of Home Assistant, so I know it’s compatible with Zigbee.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any tips or tricks you can share would be incredibly helpful. I’m really looking forward to expanding my network with more Zigbee devices, but this hurdle is stopping me in my tracks. Thanks in advance for your support!
