It’s -30C here - when your on a different floor from your Nest it thinks the house is empty. Looks like the W200 can take advantage of the W100 and FP300 to solve that problem.
Nest’s remote sensor is a little cheaper than the W100 (by$5) but the Nest puck only relays the temperature - it doesn’t help with presence. Also the battery is expensive, it doesn’t connect well 2 floors from the thermostat.
It looks like the Thermostat Hub W200 has solved all those problems.
What issues with your setup do you think the W200 will solve?

Well right now with the Nest that I have, I can no longer connect to it remotely through the app. Also it never connected to HomeKit, so the W200 would open up a lot of functionality to me.
The W200 being a hub would also open up more functionality to me by connecting to my U100 allowing me to run some automation that HomeKit will not allow. Hopefully it will also help my U100 stay connected to HomeKit and stop the “no response” errors.

I’m very I’m very interested in the W200 and moving away from Nest to have more a local control Via Home Assistant. Also my Nest remote sensors will not connect to my thermostat anymore. So I already have Temp/Hump Sensors from Aqara around the house. I plan on creating a logical automation to hopefully set the temp hold to the lowest room in the house depending on the time of day.
