I’ve been using Tuya 8 Gang smart switches for quite some time now, and they’ve been a reliable addition to my smart home setup. However, recently I noticed an issue that’s been causing me some frustration. Both of my switches, which were working perfectly until October 2021, now only show 6 switches instead of the full 8. The remaining two switch entities have completely disappeared from the interface. While I do see three new entities for volts, current, and power, they’re disabled by default, which doesn’t help my situation.
I’m reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue. Has anyone experienced their Tuya switches losing functionality over time? I’m particularly curious if this is a known bug or if there’s a workaround to restore the missing switches. I’ve tried resetting the devices and checking for firmware updates, but nothing seems to resolve the problem.
If anyone has any insights or solutions, I’d greatly appreciate the help. Maybe there’s a configuration setting I’m missing or a specific update that needs to be applied. I’m hopeful that with the community’s input, I can get my full 8 switches back up and running!
