U100 battery life-locks says "low"; App says 47%

Greetings. A week ago the U100 lock began reporting battery low when unlocking. A check with Apple’s Home app showed battery level at 47%. This lock installed late 2024, so only in use–moderate use, with only two automations and me the only resident–for about 50 weeks. Is my battery drainage typical? Can the threshold of “low battery” be changed by user. Can the warning be silenced. TIA for all replies.
