U100 Firmware Update?

I have 2 U100 door locks. One of them has firmware 3.0.0.0032 and the other lock has firmware 3.0.0.0031.

Both of these locks report that the firmware is up to date but that can’t be true since they’re identical U100’s.

Can I force a firmware update on the lock with firmware 3.0.0.0031?

Also, is there a list that shows what was updated for each firmware version?

@sdegonge It’s a bit confusing when two identical locks show different firmware versions but both claim to be up to date! Let’s try to troubleshoot the firmware update issue first. For forcing a firmware update on the U100 with version 3.0.0.0031, you can try these steps:

  1. Ensure your Aqara app is updated to the latest version.
  2. Try pulling out the battery of the lock and reinstalling it.
  3. Turn off the “display sleep” function on your phone, place the phone near the lock, and keep it awake in the Aqara Update Screen during the process.

These steps are often effective for resolving update stuck issues.

As for the list of firmware version updates, I couldn’t find relevant details in the current reference information. You seem to be looking for a list of what was updated in each firmware version. So now one of my U100 locks just got an update to 3.0.0.0034 and the other lock is still stuck at 3.0.0.0031, no prompt to update at all. What’s going on???

@sdegonge It’s definitely confusing when updates roll out unevenly across identical devices! Let’s try a few steps to nudge that stuck U100 (on 3.0.0.0031) to check for updates:

First, ensure your Aqara app is fully updated—sometimes outdated apps miss update notifications. Then, try power-cycling the lock: remove the batteries, wait 30 seconds, and reinstall them. Finally, turn off “display sleep” on your phone, hold it close to the lock, and keep the Aqara app’s lock settings screen open (awake) for a few minutes—this helps the app detect pending updates.

If it still doesn’t prompt, firmware rollouts can sometimes be phased (updates reach devices in batches). If the issue persists after a day or two, reaching out to support would help investigate further.
