U100 Without Hub/Wifi

I’m buying a new home and wanted to put a U100 on the door so that I could give the contractors codes to get into the home. Can I do that if the wifi is not turned on and there is no hub? Can that be done just with Bluetooth and the app?

Hello @lloydstein
You can create a one -time or temporary password and give it to whom you want, to create passwords you need to be in the BT area, that is, next to the castle - for this, WiFi and the hub are not required. You need an Internet connection on the phone (4G, 5G) for application A to communicate with the BT lock.

Ramen, thank you for the quick reply.
So, let me just repeat this back to make sure I understand. If I’m standing next to the U100, so that there is a bluetooth connection, and I am on my phone with 4G or 5G, I can create codes for contractors to use when they enter the home via the app.
Then when I move in, and get wifi and my hub going, I will be able to do these things remotely.

Correct?
Thanks,
Lloyd

Yes, in order to create codes you need to be nearby, your contractors do not need an application, the codes are simply sent to the panel to open the lock. If you have a hub, when you move you will be able to open the lock remotely, if this function is supported.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. Really appreciate it.

Oh! Tha’ts great advice, I’m defintely getting a few. Thanks!!!
