U200 Beta 3.0.0_0084 does not fix clutch issue

I came home and unlocked the lock from the outside using my Apple Watch. The lock unlocked the door just fine. When I was inside, I went to go manually lock the door by turning the knob. It didn’t move unless I applied a lot of forced. It felt like the motor was still engaged.

I tried again… and figured out that i need to twist the knob slightly to the right… u can feel the clutch disengage… and i can then lock smoothly by turning left

This does not happen if I manually unlock the door from the inside. This only happens when unlocking the door from the outside, not using the physical key.

I have automatically and manually recalibrated the lock and have made sure that The deadbolt locks smoothly… i am on the beta firmware as per tech support

Hello, We are very sorry for the problem you encountered.
could you please provide an operation video? We would like to analyze the cause of this phenomenon.
(The video content should include: opening the door from outside, the movement trajectory of the door lock latch, and locking operations from inside.)
Thank you very much for your feedback.

Sure… this video is me unlocking the door from the inside using my phone

Opening it from the outside is not important…. Bottom line… using my watch, phone, app, passcode so the lock unlocks not from the key or manually

Hi,
I have the exact same problem and I don’t think I have beta firmware.

Bad news, your gearbox needs to be regreased; firmware won’t fix it.

Geez… i wish i thought of that.

Already did that with Lithium powder.

It’s a clutch issue. Also, they do this put of the box. So should not need grease

If it was on the shelf for a long time, the grease just dried. I had the same thing with two locks.

Mine has already failed.

First, it showed a message that the lock status was lost. I cycled the lock and it worked fine for the rest of the day. The next day it would not unlock at all. It sounded like the gearbox was broken.

Also, during automatic calibration, the housing bulges on the right side when it reaches the locked position.

Hmm, sounds for me like a gearbox issue as well!
Can you show a video when the lock bulges?
