U200 lock strange behaviour

I have a smart lock U200 with the fingerprint keypad and the aqara cilinder.
It has worked flawlessly for several months but lately a strange behaviour occurs sometimes: when I close it I can hear the motor spinning but the cilinder is not moving (eventually it closes the door - so no security problem).
Can it be some software update maybe?

@frs_diego It’s possible that this strange behavior could be related to a software update or other issues. Here are some things you can check:

  • Check Pull Spring Function: Please check if the pull spring function for the Aqara U200 is enabled in the Aqara Home app. You can go to the Aqara Home app > lock configuration > Pull Spring Feature to enable or adjust this function. Or disable this function first, then enable it again to have a try. If the issue persists, please contact our customer service for further assistance .
  • Firmware and App Updates: Ensure that both the Aqara Home App and the lock firmware are up to date. This can often fix various issues and improve the performance of the lock .
  • Check Installation: Kindly check if the door lock is installed well. If it is difficult to turn the knob and open the door lock after installation, it could be due to screws being too tight, causing the latch to not rotate smoothly, or the installation position being slightly misaligned. There are three eva foam in the box. If the back panel moves while opening, please put in eva foam .
  • Calibration: Long press the set button to make it calibrate the door lock and then try again. For Aqara Home Users: Open the Aqara Home app, navigate to U200 Door Lock, select the “…” menu, and choose “Calibration.” Then, select either “Automatic Calibration” or “Manual Calibration.” For Matter Users: After installation, press and hold the “Set” button on the lock for 3 seconds to initiate auto-calibration .

I tried to re-calibrate it and it worked a couple times then it started again not working. As said I’m using also the Aqara cilinder for the U200 so the installation was pretty simple.
I’ve been using it since march of this year and it was working good until september. When I turn it manually using the knob it’s pretty easy to turn it.

Tomorrow i’ll try to reinstall everything and add some lubrification to the cilinder.
