U400 Slow UWB Detection When iPhone Is in Pocket

I was wondering if there are any tweaks I can make to the UWB settings to get the U400 to detect my phone a little faster.

Overall, Unlock on Approach works really well, but I’ve noticed it can be noticeably slower when my iPhone 17 Pro Max is in my pocket. If I’m holding the phone, it seems to detect and unlock much faster.

Right now I have the unlocking distance set to 1.2 meters, with the Approach Direction set to Front and Left only. The attached photo shows the location of the U400 and the direction I normally approach it from.

Has anyone else noticed slower UWB detection with their phone in their pocket? I’m wondering if changing the distance or approach-direction settings might help, or if there are any other settings worth tweaking.

Try the advanced settings in the Aqara app. You have some options to tweak that may help. But it’s not been an issue for me having the phone in my pocket.
