U400 SmartLock Won’t Open

I recently installed a U400 t replace my Eufy lock that was driving me crazy. It’s been working great, except for today, I exited the door and it automatically locked behind me after a minute. I tried opening the door with my fingerprint and PIN code, neither worked. The lock made some noise and would not unlock. After numerous attempts it opened. I see the following error code in the log, “Latch not fully extended or retracted.” The latch mechanism work’s smoothly and does not have any issues with the alignment of the door or striker plate. Calibation works flawlessly. Any ideas on what and how do I prevent it from reoccurring and being locked out?

I am having the exact same issue it feels like this is happening 50% of the time.

The same issue. I am noticing if when closed we try to check if door is locked, or when we back we forget to use finger print or code and try to open the door, the push puts somewhat stress on the lock (normal) and it just stops working. The only way to open is using keys. Afterward, using app I have to go over lock and unlock process to make sure it works but this is so stressful. I am glad i had my garage door open first time it happened or i would have been in big trouble. I had other smart locks, they do try unlock prosess after first failed attempt, but this one just gives up. Not sure if they can do a software fix or the problem is hardware. I am very close to return it.
