This is an initial setup of the U400 with a working Apple Home and Aqara G410 integration. I followed the Aqara Forum recommended order of Apple Home, Aqara App, and Aqara Hub (the G410’s hub). There were hiccups and so I am about to reset and start again.
The biggest issue I saw after the setup was the Aqara App showed “unknown status” for the U400 and repeatedly prompted for calibration. Each time the calibration would complete successfully but the “unknown status” remained. I noticed the calibration didn’t fully lock or unlock but vasilated in the middle. I checked and rechecked the deadbolt’s fit into the door jamb.
One thought I had was that the U400 might expect to see the Aqara-supplied metal strike-plate and plastic receptacle to register the locked and unlocked status. I skipped this in favor of using my door’s existing strike-plate. Does anyone know if this could be a potential cause of my issue?
