Hey there!
Recently got U400 up and running, connected to an Apple HomePod Mini 2 which is about a meter away from it.
It seems everytime I approach the lock I have to stand in-front of it for 3-5 seconds before the UWB light comes on and it finally unlocks.
I do have the directions set in HomeKit (I approach the lock from the left usually).
Any ideas on how to remedy this?

If you are experiencing issues with your U400, please perform these three quick checks first:
- Software Updates: Ensure your mobile devices are updated. For the best performance, we highly recommend updating to iOS 26 and watchOS 26 or later.
- Lock Firmware: Open the Aqara Home app and ensure your U400 firmware is updated to the latest available version.
- Check Hardware Responsiveness: The next time the lock fails to open or experiences a delay, please check the following:
Touchpad Test: If UWB does not unlock the door when you approach, please try touching the keypad to wake the lock and then check whether UWB works. This can help us determine whether the issue is related to the lock’s hardware.
