One of my U50 locks (3) reported low battery while away on a trip. Returned and replaced the batteries, but the indicator on the app still reports low battery after 24+ hours since replacement. In addition, Bluetooth will not reconnect, but the lock remains bound to the correct Aqara hub. Unit fails repeatedly to pair with Bluetooth. - Note: I’ve turned Bluetooth on/off multiple times on my iPhone - still not pairing.
Question: Do I need to fully rest the lock and start over to restore to function again?
Before resetting I’d pull the batteries for ~ 10 min and then reinsert giving it some time to “refresh” itself. If that fails I’d then move to resetting the unit to start fresh. I’ve had issues with new batteries before so that’s also something to look at before resetting.
My pleasure. I’m hoping that either “refreshing” it or resetting as a last resort will clear the Bluetooth issue up. It is concerning to lose the Bluetooth connectivity.
