Hi, I recently set up a new U50 lock on my garage. I do not have a hub but have set the lock up via bluetooth to automatically lock after 10 minutes.
Except it never locks automatically. I have to manually lock it and it will retain the ‘locked’ status in the app until it is opened again via keypad. After that it will not re-lock and when I check the status via bluetooth it says lock status is ‘unknown’ and to ‘close and lock the door’ to regain locked status. I have recalibrated multiple times and updated firmware.
Am I required to have a hub in order for auto-lock to work?

To use automation and for remote access to the lock you definitely need a hub.
If you use Aqara home this is an aqara hub, if you use Apple Homekit you need a smart home center from apple (apple tv or homepod)
Thanks @Raman.V - I purchased an M100 hub and linked my U50 to it. I’m still getting an “Unknown” error whenever the door is left unlocked.
It instructs me to lock the door manually, which then regains the ‘locked’ status.
Interestingly, I linked my hub to my Google Home and, despite the Aqara app giving the ‘unknown’ status, I’m able to lock the U50 through the Google Home app. If I do this, then the lock status is reported as ‘Locked’ through the Aqara app.
Ive tried re-calibrating as well as running through Door Lock Detection many times with no change to behavior.
