Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring ways to optimize my Home Assistant setup and came across a few areas where I think some improvements could really enhance the user experience. First off, the UI for automations and entities is a crucial part of the system, and I noticed that the automation descriptions aren’t displayed next to their names. This leaves a lot of unused space. I think adding a feature to customize the columns shown and adjust their widths would make the interface much more user-friendly. It would allow users to tailor the view to their specific needs, which is something I believe many would appreciate.
Another area I’m looking into is filtering entities. Currently, filtering by integration or area isn’t possible on the entities tab. This makes it a bit challenging to manage devices, especially for those with a large setup. Adding this functionality to the filter would streamline the process and save a lot of time.
On a different note, I’ve been using multiple cameras, and I’m curious about setting priority notifications. I have a front door camera in a busy area that triggers notifications every 5 minutes, and a side door camera that I want to prioritize. Is there a way to keep cloud recording active on both but only receive push notifications from the side door camera? This would be incredibly useful for security and peace of mind.
