Unexpected UV Glow from Color Bulbs in My Craft Room

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share an interesting discovery I made while experimenting with my new color bulbs in the craft room. I installed three of the new bulbs, and while tweaking the settings, I noticed something pretty cool. When I set the color to pure blue, items that normally react to ultraviolet light started glowing brightly! For instance, my para-cord and paper labels, which are made with high-viz paint, shone very brightly in orange and green. It’s fascinating how this works!

I suspect that UV was added to the LEDs to make colors pop, which is a clever design choice. However, it’s important to note that there’s still a lot of visible blue light, so it’s not like a regular ultraviolet lamp. This feature could be really useful for highlighting certain materials or creating unique lighting effects in specific spaces. I’m curious to see how others are using this capability or if they’ve noticed similar effects with their bulbs. It’s always great to learn from the community!

If anyone has tips on how to maximize this feature or any safety precautions to keep in mind, I’d love to hear about them. Happy experimenting everyone! :star2:
