I’m thrilled to share my journey of upgrading my home security system! 
I’ve been using the Safewatch Pro 3000 panel with wired door and window sensors, and while it works perfectly, I’ve been longing to modernize my setup. My main goals are to upgrade the keypad, enable smartphone control, add a panic remote, and integrate central monitoring. After some research, I stumbled upon the Qolsys IQ Panel 2+ and it seems like the perfect fit for my needs! But I’m not entirely sure about its compatibility with my current system. The chip on my panel reads “WA3001-5.5 Honeywell 2008 Rev 5.5”, so I’m hoping the IQ Panel 2+ can seamlessly integrate with this. I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully paired these systems or has insights into what hardware or software might be required for a smooth transition. If anyone has tips on configuring the panic remote or setting up central monitoring, that would be invaluable! 
In the meantime, I’m exploring the IQ Panel 2+ features and can’t wait to experience the enhanced security and convenience it promises. Fingers crossed for a successful upgrade!
