Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience upgrading from GC2 to GC3. The process has been quite smooth, and I’m really impressed with the improvements in functionality and ease of use. 
I started by purchasing the GC3 from Surety, and I was happy to see that the 2GIG-LTEV-A-GC# is now available. Shipping was a breeze, and it arrived in perfect condition. One thing I was unsure about was whether I needed to install my Wink Hub 2 before setting up the GC3. After doing some research on the forums, I realized that the GC3 can act as a secondary controller, which means I could install the Wink Hub 2 afterward without any issues. 
The setup process itself was straightforward. The GC3 interface is much more user-friendly compared to the GC2, and the integration with my existing smart home devices worked seamlessly. I was particularly impressed with the enhanced monitoring features and the ability to customize alerts and notifications. It feels like a significant upgrade in terms of security and convenience. 
One thing I would recommend to others going through a similar upgrade is to take the time to thoroughly review the GC3’s settings and features. There are so many options to explore, and it’s easy to overlook some of the more advanced functionalities. I also found the Surety support team to be incredibly helpful whenever I had questions. 
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the upgrade to GC3. It’s definitely worth the investment for anyone looking to enhance their home security system. If you’re considering making the switch, I highly recommend giving it a try!
