Upgrading to OpenHAB3: A Smooth Transition and New Possibilities

After several attempts and some setbacks, I finally succeeded in upgrading my OpenHAB setup to version 3.0! It’s been a journey, but the result is worth it. Starting fresh with Raspberry Pi and OpenHAB3, I’ve managed to integrate all my essential devices, from Shelly bindings for lighting and garage control to my Zigbee network with smoke detectors and bulbs. The Solaredge inverter connection and Mail Binding are also up and running smoothly.

One of the best parts is the improved user interface and the ability to recreate my rules from OpenHAB2. The setup is so much more intuitive now, and I can’t wait to explore all the new features. If you’re considering an upgrade, I highly recommend taking the plunge—it’s definitely worth the effort. Looking forward to all the possibilities this new version brings! :rocket:
