Upgrading to SSD
After cleaning up my workspace, I stumbled upon a 120GB Samsung SSD. Installing it was a breeze, and the speed improvement is mind-blowing! My system feels like it’s on steroids now. But I was curious—how do I migrate my data smoothly? I tried a few methods, but nothing beats the simplicity of backing up key files. I learned that regular backups are a must, and now I feel more secure with my data.
Exploring ESPHome
Speaking of upgrades, I’ve been diving into ESPHome for my smart home projects. It’s incredibly versatile, and I’ve managed to integrate it with my SSD setup seamlessly. I recently set up a Respeaker Lite, and it’s been a game-changer for voice commands. The integration with Home Assistant is smooth, and I love how everything works together now.
Benefits and Future Plans
This SSD upgrade has not only boosted my system’s performance but also given me the confidence to explore more projects.
