Aqara cameras have a wide range of functions, which is a great advantage, but the large number of parameters often makes navigation difficult for users. To make interaction with devices more convenient, I propose to implement the following update:
Reasoning
Based on discussions on a closed forum, we developed a unified settings architecture algorithm for all types of Aqara cameras. This allowed us to standardize the menu, but quick access to specific items is still a pressing issue.
Summary of the proposal
Create a separate settings search window directly in the camera plugin in the Aqara Home application.
Mechanics: The user enters the name of the parameter (for example, “WDR”, “Detection area” or “Recording”), and the application instantly provides a link to the corresponding section.
Analog: Implementing global search in iOS or Android settings.

Improve the overall experience of using the Aqara ecosystem.

I think Aqara is trying to implement this feature with its Aqara Copilot. If you go to Profile > AI Laboratory, you can enable Aqara Copilot. You get 99 messages per day.
You can ask a question and it will show you where is the setting you’re looking for. It’s even more beginner friendly, because it will guess what you mean if you word your search incorrectly.
And for comparison: classic search engine will look for exact match, and some users won’t find what they’re looking for because they won’t be able to word the search correctly. So I think in this use case, this AI agent is great.

Hello. I stopped using this function due to the unauthorized control of my smart home (automation), after a request. This function requires careful use. I suggest making an exception for Aqara cameras. Many of my clients prioritize video surveillance of the territory in a smart home (security). For this reason, I raised this issue. Users are always looking for an analogue of searching for settings in iPhone, Android.

So maybe if there was something in the middle then it would be ideal? LLM-backend search?
Something similar to what internet search engines work - some use fuzzy search (which looks up similar words or phrases, so it corrects your typos), some use LLM-backed search (like Google) that can understand what you’re looking for based on the description.
You’re right, the current AI agent actually looks like it does too much 
It may change something and then you still don’t know where the setting is.
