Hey everyone, I’m excited to share my journey of setting up a smart HVAC system for my vacation rental! 
I recently installed a Micasa VeraLite Z-Wave hub and a Yale keypad lock, and I’m now exploring how to integrate an AWARE thermometer to automate turning off the AC when the house is empty.
Here’s what I’m thinking: using the door lock as a trigger (locking means people have left) and pairing it with a motion sensor that detects no movement for 10 minutes. This combo should automatically shut off the AC, saving energy and money! But I’m not sure if the sensors can handle this logic. Any tips or experiences would be super helpful!
