As far as I know, multiple frames for the 55mm system should be standardized in a way that generally allows them to be used both vertically and horizontally. Such as the Gira E2, see the image at the very bottom.
Since the actual switch inserts typically have an exact square dimension of 55 x 55 mm, the matching multiple frames ought to be completely symmetrical. You should normally be able to simply rotate a double or triple frame by 90 degrees to fit flush-mounted boxes that are stacked on top of each other.
The Aqara H2 multiple frames are meant to fit this standard dimension, so they should behave during installation exactly like frames from established manufacturers. But please be aware: although the Aqara frame is advertised as a 55mm system, sockets from Jung or other manufacturers that have not been explicitly stated as compatible might not fit into the frames, for example.
