Hello everyone, I’m new to the Vera ecosystem and I’m really excited about its potential. I just got my Vera unit and I’m trying to figure out how to configure it as an access point in my basement. My goal is to have it wirelessly connect to my primary router while still offering wired networking. Does anyone have experience with this setup? I’d love to hear your tips and tricks!
Speaking of setups, I’m also trying to sync two light switches without ending up in a loop. I’ve got one switch connected to a virtual device and the other controlling an actual bulb. I’ve created a zigbee group called “living room lights,” but when I press the switches rapidly, they start triggering each other endlessly. It’s a bit frustrating, but I’m determined to crack this. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue before?
On a lighter note, I’ve been exploring Govee products lately, and I’m really impressed by their range. I’ve been using their lights in my cigar humidor, and they’ve been a game-changer. If anyone has tips on optimizing their performance or specific models they recommend, I’d love to hear about it!
Lastly, I’ve noticed some language issues with my digital clock layers. Only the top layer changes to Arabic, while the others stay in English. It’s a bit puzzling, but I’m hopeful there’s a workaround. If anyone has insights or solutions, please share!
